Chapter III Basic Application of Enterprise Internet
First, the development of basic Internet activities
(A) basic information Internet applications
E-mail is one of the earliest Internet services, which plays an important role in information communication, and is also a widely accepted and low-cost Internet marketing channel for enterprises. As of December 2015, 89.0% of enterprises connected to the Internet have used the Internet to send and receive emails in the past year, and 62.1% of them have corporate mailboxes.
In addition, 71.9%, 67.2% and 58.3% of online enterprises have carried out basic information activities such as learning about goods or services, publishing information or instant messages, and obtaining information from government agencies.
(B) Basic internal support Internet applications
Internet plays an important supporting role in the internal management of enterprises: 83.0% online enterprises assist financial work through online banking; 79.3% of online enterprises interact with government agencies and do things online, and the high utilization rate reflects the fruitful results of e-government construction; 57.4% of online companies are engaged in online recruitment. In addition to traditional ways such as posting recruitment information on recruitment websites and official website, social platforms and instant messaging tools have also become new channels, and 28.1% of online companies use the Internet to carry out employee training.
(3) Basic network security protection measures
By December 2015, 91.4% of enterprises had installed antivirus software and firewall software, and more than 1/4 of them paid for it. According to the survey results, enterprises in China have basic awareness of network security protection.
Second, the grassroots Internet full-time job setting
As of December 2015, 34.0% of enterprises have set up full-time Internet posts at the grassroots level, among which the proportion of micro-enterprises with 7 employees or less is the lowest, accounting for 30.2%, and the proportion of enterprises with 300 employees or above setting up special posts is close to 40%. At present, it is difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to set up special posts. However, with the gradual improvement of Internet software and hardware configuration and the increasingly extensive and in-depth development of Internet activities, the demand for talents with professional operation and maintenance, R&D and commercial operation skills will surge.
In terms of industries, the proportion of special posts in industry and service industry is 28.5% and 38.0% respectively, with a difference of nearly 10 percentage points. Among them, the manufacturing industry is lower than the whole industry, and the wholesale and retail catering industry is lower than the whole service industry. It is an urgent problem to improve the attention paid by enterprises to grassroots professionals in order to realize "intelligent manufacturing" and develop modern service industry closely related to people’s livelihood.
