Peng Yu-yan himself admitted that "Cold War" made him too addicted to drama. "I have loved watching police and gangster movies since I was a child, so I am very excited to wear EU (stormtrooper) clothes, and it is easier to get into the role when I act." Speaking of "Dad" Leung Ka Hui in the film, Peng Yuyan said: "Brother Ka Hui has always been an actor that I admire very much and is a role model in my life. He taught me a lot of acting things and gave me very good advice."

Sunny Boy Premieres Hong Kong Police

In 2012, Peng Yuyan entered his thirties. In the past ten years of his debut, he has achieved good results in movies and television, and he has also been constantly trying and challenging various roles. In "Cold War", Peng Yuyan revealed that this is his first time playing a police officer. He introduced: "On the surface, I am just a small police officer, but in fact I am an excellent graduate of the police academy who was born in a famous police family and has an IQ of 192. My father is also a high-ranking deputy commissioner of police." Peng Yuyan said that this is the first time he and Liang Jiahui play father and son. The relationship between the two in the film is not harmonious. "He is an iron-fisted officer who pays attention to discipline and obedience, very strict, and I am more rebellious and do not listen to him, so we have a lot of conflicts and contradictions."

In addition, referring to the cooperation with Guo Fucheng and Liang Jiahui, Peng Yuyan admitted that he has benefited a lot. "They will share their experience with you, which is a kind of happiness for our young actors." He also said: "These excellent actors are not only excellent in acting, but also I have seen their passion for acting, constantly challenging themselves and asking themselves to do better. When I get along with everyone, they make me feel that being an actor requires not only good acting, but also learning how to be human. I can learn a lot from them, and I hope I can be like them one day."

Hope to do a sequel to "Chills" again

"The first time I met the two directors was in Hong Kong. Director Lu showed me the sixth draft of the script. He said he wanted me to play the role of Li Jiajun, and I was very surprised at that time. But after reading the script, I said yes, I really want to join." Peng Yuyan admitted that the reason why he agreed to act immediately at that time was because the script was really good and the role was not the same as before.

"The two directors are great. Whenever you call them, they patiently tell you about the script and the characters. Because they wrote the script themselves, they know each character very well, and he can go back and forth with you, which is great," Mr. Peng said of the collaboration with the two directors. Peng Yuyan also said that if there is a sequel to "Cold War", I hope I can still play.

I want to try diverse roles in the future

In 2011, Peng Yuyan made his movie"Roll over! Ashin"Nominated for Best Actor at Taiwan’s Golden Horse Awards, although he lost to Andy Lau in the end, he believes that this film has given him a chance to turn around. Regarding the award, Peng Yuyan said that he treats it with a normal heart and does not give himself too much pressure. "Winning an award is a rare thing. Instead of thinking about how to win an award every day, it is better to act well and do a good job in front of you."

As for his future career plans, Peng Yuyan admits that he will not set limits on himself. Whether it is a movie or a TV series, as long as he likes the script and characters, he is willing to try. He said: "There may be more movies, because the characters of the movie have more breakthroughs and challenges, and they also need more time to prepare. This preparation process is my favorite, because I can uncover the side that I don’t know. So I hope I can try more diverse roles and show every side of myself to the audience."
