Tencent Group anti-corruptive practices report： more than 120 people were fired last year for violating the ＂Tencent high voltage line＂

On February 2, Tencent Group issued a notice on corruptive practices.

Tencent Group said that Tencent has always believed in the values of "integrity, enterprising, collaboration and creation". In order to promote integrity, Tencent has developed anti-corruptive practices such as "Tencent High Voltage Line" and established a sound risk management system to prevent, detect and crack down on all corruptive practices such as commercial bribery and drug-related embezzlement. To ensure that the behavior of all employees is in line with the integrity values Tencent has always promoted and committed to upholding. Once Tencent finds and confirms that employees have violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line", they will be fired and never hired. For external companies involved in the case, they will be blacklisted by the company and will never cooperate. If the relevant behavior is suspected of illegal and criminal activities at the same time, Tencent will cooperate with the public security judicial organs to investigate and hold relevant personnel legally responsible, and will closely cooperate with the public security organs to arrest the employees and external personnel involved in the case.

In 2023, the Anti-Corruptive Practices Investigation Department of Tencent discovered and investigated more than 70 cases of violating the "Tencent High Voltage Line", more than 120 people were dismissed for violating the "Tencent High Voltage Line", and nearly 20 people were transferred to the public security organs for suspected crimes. The cases of dismissal, transfer to justice, and court judgment for commercial bribery or drug-related embezzlement in 2023 are hereby notified as follows:

1. Gao Qiyuan, the former CSIG Cloud Business Development Department, and Wang Qi, the former CSIG Cloud Products Department, took advantage of their positions to illegally embezzle company assets during their tenure. They were transferred to the public security organ for handling on suspicion of crimes. Their actions violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and were blacklisted and never hired. After court trial, Gao Qiyuan was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 100,000 yuan for the crime of duty embezzlement; Wang Qi was sentenced to three years and six months in prison and fined 80,000 yuan for the crime of duty embezzlement.

2. Zhang Jian of CSIG’s regional business department took advantage of his position to illegally embezzle company assets. He was transferred to the public security organ for processing on suspicion of crime. His behavior violated the "Tencent high voltage line" and was dismissed and never hired. After the court trial, Zhang Jian committed the crime of embezzlement and was sentenced to ten months in prison, suspended for one year, and fined 8,000 yuan.

3. During their tenure, Zhang Meng and Liu Yunting of the former CSIG Medical Information and Service Department took advantage of their positions to illegally embezzle company assets, and for the benefit of external companies, they charged external companies for good treatment. Their actions violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and were blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Zhang Meng and Liu Yunting were transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

4. The former IEG interactive entertainment service global procurement Peng Yang and Shu Hua took advantage of their positions to illegally occupy the company’s assets during their tenure. Their behavior violated the "Tencent high voltage line" and was blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Peng Yang and Shu Hua were transferred to the public security organs for suspected crimes.

5. During his tenure, Zhang Jie, the former CSIG Medical Information and Service Department, took advantage of his position to seek benefits for individual suppliers, charged supplier facilitation fees, and illegally appropriated company assets. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was blacklisted and never hired. At the same time, Zhang Jie was transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

6. IEG Quality Management Department Li Mei took advantage of her position to illegally seize company assets. Her behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was fired and never hired. At the same time, Li Mei was transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

7. During his tenure, Dong Xiaoxuan, the former PCG film and television content production department, took advantage of his position to illegally embezzle the company’s assets. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Dong Xiaoxuan was transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

8. During his tenure, Chen Yifu, the former PCG animation business department, took advantage of his position to seek benefits for external companies and charged external company facilitation fees. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Chen Yifu was transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

9. During his tenure, Lu Xi, the former PCG sports live broadcast and programming department, took advantage of his position to seek benefits for external companies and charged external company facilitation fees. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Lu Xi was transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

10. During their tenure, Shen Zixi, the former CSIG Industrial Safety Operation Department, and Wang Qiang, the former CSIG Security Products Department II, took advantage of their positions to illegally embezzle company assets. Their actions violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and were blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Shen Zixi and Wang Qiang were transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

11. Yin Hong and Wang Zhuoheng of the former PCGNBase business department took advantage of their positions to illegally embezzle the company’s assets during their tenure. Their actions violated the "Tencent high voltage line" and were blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Yin Hong and Wang Zhuoheng were transferred to the public security organ for suspected crime.

12. During their tenure, Shen Ning and Chen Jiandan of the former CSIG Medical Information and Service Department took advantage of their positions to seek benefits for multiple individual suppliers and charged suppliers a fee. During their tenure, Wang Qinghai of the former CSIG Medical Information and Service Department bribed Shen Ning and Chen Jiandan as the actual controller of an external company. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Shen Ning, Chen Jiandan and Wang Qinghai were transferred to the public security organs for suspected crimes.

13. Former PCG Tencent News Zhou Xiang and Bai Xiaosong took advantage of their positions during their tenure to seek benefits for external companies and charge external companies for their good handling. Their actions violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and were blacklisted and will never be hired. At the same time, Zhou Xiang and Bai Xiaosong were transferred to the public security organs for suspected crimes.

14. Shi Xiuhua and Luo Xiaowu of the S1 Infrastructure Department took advantage of their positions to seek benefits for external companies and charged fees for the facilitation of external companies. Their actions violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and were fired and never hired.

15. Wu Jianghua of the CSIG Industrial Ecological Cooperation Department took advantage of his position to embezzle the company’s assets. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was fired and never hired.

16. Liu Xuekun of PCG Commercial Products Department took advantage of his position to embezzle company assets. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was fired and never hired.

17. PCG Tencent News He Guoshuai took advantage of his position to introduce the external companies he actually controlled and the external companies associated with him as suppliers, undertake related business, and have improper economic dealings with the relevant personnel of the suppliers. His behavior violated the "Tencent High Voltage Line" and was dismissed and never hired.
